Calèche Soie de parfum - Hermès, Eau de parfum, Women, Spray THE CREATION Created by perfumer Guy Robert in 1961, and Hermès’s first feminine perfume, Calèche was reinterpreted in 1992 to become Calèche Soie de Parfum, a composition named in reference to the emblematic team of the house and the silk trade. THE OLFACTORY NOTES Floral and aldehydic, Calèche Soie de Parfum combines the refined notes of aldehyde with those of opulent jasmine, alongside a generous rose. THE SUBJECT Inspired by the lanterns of cars of yesteryear, the bottle is topped with a black hood echoing the bomb of the riders. Sign of belonging to the collection of Parfums-Fondateurs, the label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas. THE COLLECTION OF THE FOUNDING PERFUMES The Founders Perfumes collection draws its inspiration from the heritage of the house. Each creation concentrates the imagination of Hermès in a name, a fragrance, a color. Over the years, Hermès has written the pages of a bold perfumery, born from the meeting with exceptional perfumers. Composed by Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche is the first female of the house. It is a floral woody chypres, of great femininity, whose name echoes the emblematic team of Hermès. Calèche is a novel that shines with the beauty of its raw materials, from the cheerfulness of citrus fruits to the modernity of aldehyded notes, the floral heart embroidered with ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine, to the woody wake, chypre, underlined by the nobility of iris.
